Any ways a least we got his passport renewed in case it should be needed for any reason. Had to find time to tend our farms an off to bed we went............

in about a fortnight(2weeks)we ledt the Embassy at Half past Three. We walked out an headed down to Bond Street Underground for the return trip home. we walked to the top of Grosvner Road turned left an was walking down the Famous London Shopping street Oxford Street wall to wall shoppes an boutiques an it was packed with wall to wall people we continued down the street till we got to Bond Street Underground Entrance and got the central line back to Liverpool Street Train Station. Young grady went to Burger King an Big Grady got a Milkshake an than we boarded the 4:15pm train back to Chelmsford Station about an half hour train ride. We left the station an walked down an brought some Chinese Takeaway home for dinner. It made for a very long day as we were unable to take any electronic items or mobile phones due to security restrictions an all the waiting around. Well that's the Goverments for you!!!!
photo card an said i needed to leave an walk down to a pharmacy n have American Photos taken of the boy as the ones we had were to small an incorrect. Big grady had to stay at the Embassy. Well off we went back out thru Security an told them what was happening an they intsructed us as to what to do when we returned back. We walked to the Pharmacy stood in a short queue an had his photos retook. We than returned back to the Embassy walked back in an gave the photos back to the clerk as she asked, while we were away Grady had already paid the Fees of £52.00 that's $76.00 plus an additional £14.00 $28.00 for a mailing envelope. We continued to wait in the waiting area untill our ticket # was called. Finally we were called forward to window four the gentleman clerk asked young grady a few questions an than Mum n Dad had to swear the oath on his behalf an sign documents. The clerk than advisied us that we were finished an would recieve the passport in the post
i was called over so they could check my handbag someting showed up on their screen so we went thru my bag an it was a tiny screwdrive that i use to fix eyeglasses so they said all was okay an than asked me to take a swig out of my water bottle so nothing was in it. Lucky for me i did'nt drop dead!!!! the boy sailed thru an than it was Big grady's turn he went thru an set off the machine which we knew because of his Aritfical Leg. Seeing that this does'nt happen much to them they had to call for someone to come down to security an do a chemical swamb on this leg. Oh what drama, drama!!! Well we finally made it thur an walked around to the Embassy Entrance we climed more stairs an went thru more heavy gold doors. Walked up to a machine punched in some info an we got a ticket than procceded to queue up again an wait to be called up to a window. We got called to window 2 an the clerk asked for all our documents an a few questions she than handed me a
continued: we sat down on a bench in Hyde Park, it was a very huge park must go on for miles... Where we sat across the path from us was the Mounument they placed for the victims of the Seven,Seven London Bombings it was pretty surreal.....We all said a quite prayer for the victims. We finished our park lunch an made the walk back to the American Embassy. We walked up to the gate an naturally it was heavily gaurded by loads of Police Bobbies all carry big powerful Guns. A bit on the scary side needless to say. Anyway they told us to return at 1:45pm as everyone was still at lunch. We walked back around to the smaller park an waited till time to queue up for the security check point. We pulled out our passports as requested an waited to be called forward. This really heavy set guard waved an asked us to come forward. we walked into the security building an they took our passports an the guy really got a giggle over young gradys picture because he looked so young in yet, the rest of placed our items into the bucket an walked thru the security machine.
Well we headed out around 10:ooish walked up to corner an caught bus into town to train station. Purchased our train tickets to London got all day travel tickets which include use of the London Underground an bus cost £26.00 that's $50.00 American monies. We caught the 10:27am train into Liverpool Street an arrived there about 11:00am walked the terminal to the Underground an got on the Central Line to Marble Arch which was about 9 stops than our exit, walked off the underground up to upper level for Park Lane walked a few blocks north to our street an turned left walked a few more blocks crossed over the zebra crossing into the American Embassy. We of course was several hours early as our appt was scheduled for 2:00pm. So we went an sat on a bench in a lovely green park with a few statues an monuments. The Sun was shining in an out an a bit on the breezy side but all an all nice weather. We decided to head out to find the public tolilets and as usual for London u had to walk an walk an walk!!!!! to find anything. We walked to the top end of Park Lane and Picaddilly Circus was to our left and Hyde Park to our right ummmm!! which way do we go? we chose the Park so we walked across and past the Entrance Gates to Buckingham Palace only where the Royal Family Stay!!! down an up the underground stairs an what to avail the Public Toliets yeahhhh!! When mission was complete we crossed over the street again into the park found a concession stand an bought some lunch...What a shock that was only £4.oo a sandwich $8.00 american 3 sandwiches an drinks an £15.00 later a that's $30.00 what a dear lunch in the Park.

Woke up to a repeat of Sunday's weather rain, rain go away ! enough already!!! We all worked on our farms. Big G worked on the passport paperwork that we will need to take with us tomorrow when we travel up to London to the American Embassy for a 2:oopm appt to renew young grady's Amerian passport. I got in the kitchen an did a bit of baking just Blueberry Muffins,Chocolate Chip Muffins and a Cheese n Onion Quiche made with the spring onions from the lovely garden Oh so Yummy!!!!! The young lad went to visit his mate patrick for a while than they came back here played a few games. Later on we watched a few more movies than headed off to bed. London here we come............
We woke up around 9:00ish and caught the bus into town. Big G, Young G an myself went to work out at the GYM. We all worked on the weight equipment Big was helping his son on the equipment since he is unable to lift regular weights due his muscle's not being fully developed. We started on the Treadmill and what a laugh that was trying to get the boy started. He finally got going an began to enjoy himself. We ended out workout on the excersice bikes. We than went an but our swim suits on and got into the swimming pool it was quite relaxing.. Than we changed an went to have lunch at Que Tasa for lunch an it was good as well to had bring home a doggie bag! Left there walked thru town to the bank and than got bus back home.
Saturday, 18 July 2009
It's Saturday, had another lovely layin. The young lad had to leave for 9:30am as he was to report to his Cadet Unit for a River Clean-up an take some tools so work on their rafts, will be dropped of around 2:ooish!! A nice day with sunny skies but very windy.... Just been being a bit lazy an working on the laptop and trying to catch up on my blog. Big G worked out in his garden for a while it is really coming along now. Have had the lettuce, strawberries, spring onions now the squash is ready n cucucumber sandwichs are very tasty. can't beat homegrown produce......Well Big is gonna be fxing dinner her soon an i need to check back in on my farms!!! will type more later hopefully u know how it goes when ya on HOLIDAY!!!!
Wow i got to have a lay in!! it was lovely not to wake up till noon really enjoing my first day of Summer Holiday!! Had a very strong storm blow thru the night an into the morning. Sun finally came out later in the day. The lad was home early from school his last day today. We has to place our Pizza order on line as due to the rough storms earlier all the phone lines were down in the area. Watched a few movies, worked our farms an than headed off to bed.....
2 days an counting. no day off today as my boss was not in an i had to work. weather was cooler an more clouds an rain. Worked our farms an watched the Home Run Derby an All Star Game on Espn America have added that channel to our cable bill as we now can get all the Amercian Sports Programs...Off too Bed!!!
3 days an counting!!! Weather has been rather cloudy an stormy so far nothing really much is happening the lad is still on restriction an will not be looking forward to his holiday break as he for some unknow reason has now broken his laptop notebook along with the other broken electronics he owns. Like the Xbox no longer works unable to read discs, his PSP 2 the screen is shattered broken by the dog? Our old computer was placed in his room an it no longer works after he placed a game card in it? Unable to reas disc's an unable to watch the cable as he pulled the cord and connections apart an that no longer works just brillant son way to go!!! What else is left? well mum n dad aren't paying out for repairs so i guess it will be a boring summer holiday with out games!!!! Maybe next time u will learn not slam the gadgets down an take better care of your electronics.....
I may have gotten my schedule a little out of order but oh well. We are finally done to our last week of work an school. Actually it's on four days for me as my boss asked me to work on my dayoff so will finish off on Thursday hip hip hooray!!
The Sea Cadet is off too parade and Mum n Dad are working our farms an have a pretty heavy thunderstorm passing over us at the time.
We had to get up early as we needed to be at the church for 9:ooam It was a special sunday worship with the kids performing the sevice as it was about diciples. It started with a breakfast an than we stayed for the bible study an young grady went off to the chruch to ring bells. When time for the service to begin we all gathered in the church an the service began it was really brillant all the kids did a super job. Young Grady was to say a prayer towards the end of service an it was well done! Very proud of him isnt just amazing how at times your child can make you just be speechless over what they are capable of conguering. When the Reverend had them all line up outside with her at the end of the service all the elderly members were saying to him how well he did an how well projected he did the prayer they could hear all the way in the back rows which is very rare. It was Epic as our son would say!!! What a shining moment that was for him.
We fired up the Barbie an had a lovely an tasty BBQ my co-worker Helen her Husband an son/daughter came over an we had a great time. I bought water guns for the kiddies as it was hot an we don't have a swimming pool. I got a Dart board as well an we all took turns in threwing darts. That was our version of July 4th seeing that the Brits don't look forward to celebrating the Holiday!!!!
When the the lad came in from school he of course asked if i was going to Special Cadet Parade Evening an i said no because of our fight the previous evening an had placed him on restriction for a week. We had been asking him all week long to get his #1 Uniform ready for that evening as he was due to get inspection an also needed to get a few new patches sewn on an he did nothing to ready himself so i explained enough of do,do for grady an me an father just get blown off....Know how that story plays out, so he just got made said he wasn't going an stormed off to his bedroom to sulk... He has to understand there will always be consequences to your actions all thru life so better start dealing with it now as to benefit for the future.
Wesnesday is my day off an i had to go up to Broomfield Hospital and have blood taken to see if my Cholestrol has changed any an of course it will take about 10 days to get the results so better keep popping my tablet... We headed out early as i wasn't sure what time they stop taking patients and knew the next shift was at three in the afternoon an did'nt want to be going up at that time. So we headed out early and just missed the 47 bus up to hospital but than it runs all thru the estates an wanted to go straight there. So we crossed over for the 47 bus going into town and waited an as usual it was late so we decided to walk instead down to the bottom of road and we would catch the 42 bus up to hospital. Well once again we waited an waited to no avail that bus never showed either so we waited a bit more an finally a bus came an we arrived at hospital. Walked inside and took a # only 2 other people infront of me not bad. They called my # an i went inside the nurse asked me to sit down took one look at my arms an said oh figures u would be a difficult patient just as she was due to take a break, I told her i wasn't a easy one to take blood from my arms she would end up taking it from my viens in my hand. The Nurse kept slapping an tapping my arms an no veins would pop up so she finally resorted to my hand an while that was trying to flow out it stopped an she says dont stop now i only need enough for 2 small bottles i managed to give her enough blood and she in turn said to me my blood is gold an i would starve a vampire!!! I told her i have always been stingy with my blood... She placed the cotton ball on the spot an told me not to carry anthing heavy or lift so when i walked out of the room i handed my handbag over to grady to carry an he just laughed. I ended up carrying it myself has it just goes over my body an was no problem. We than boarded the 42 Bus an rode it into town an we walked thru the High Street as i was trying to find a presy for my co-worker. we walked up to King's Cafe an got us meal i had'nt ate since 10:oopm the previous evening for fasting for the blood test. I ordered a cheese toastie w cup of tea hubby had coffee and something i don't remember. Old timers is setting in again. We got home an i had to make Cholcolate Chip Cookies for the young lads Cadet Parade Evening on Thursday as they were to have the Mayor of Chelmsford to Visit an a buffet afterwards. Tryed to work my farm until my son had to show is ass and ended up in big fight an just gave up an went to bed cross....
We woke up to cloudy skys an cooler temps but a lovely day. We just basically had a lazy day Big G tended to his garden and i tinkered with a few things in the house. The young seaman got home about 4:ooish and we found out at that on their first night on the boat a heavy storm blew thru and it started to leak in on them while they were all sleeping so they in turn had to pack up an abandon ship and head back to their unit in Chelmsford for rest of the night. They than just finished out the weekend running back an forth from the unit to the docks to complete their boating training. It was hot and we told him to take sunscreen and a hat but to no avail he returned home with his face burnt to a crisp!! an he was was one tired sailor to boot.
Oh my gosh have i been that busy to have gotten so behind on my blogging, seems to be so i'll try my best to get caught up. We of course had 2 weeks of Wimbeldon Tennis an for the first time in a long while we had brillant weather. The days were sunny an hot an i mean hot temps maintained in the upper 80's to lower 90's it was just amazing!!
Me an Hubby headed off into the town Big G fancied a few bits from the market seeing we were minus the young seaman he had shipped out to Iverston for a 3 day Camp. We arrived home later that afternoon an was gonna fire up the Barbie till the clouds turned all black n grey an rained out our Barbie an we ended up inside. Than as usual we worked our farms an played an chatted on Facebook.......

Well another week bites the dusk. It was more sun and heat! Just loving the summer heat wave.... When i got in from work Big G was tending the back garden an showed me the Iris flowers blooming out they are beautiful purple an yellow aslo squash is coming along we have a few strawberries springing out, the lettuce tastes yummy on my sandwich. The lad arrived home from school an ran up stairs to change into his Sea Cadets Uniform so he would be ready for a 18:00 pick-up. Dominic knocked on the door an before we knew it he was shipped off..... We spent rest of the evening working our farms an watching tele all the American shows like Army Wives,America's Got Talent & Dexter.. Till next time Cherrio!!

What a superb week of weather we have been blessed with. Today was more of the same but even hotter it is just brillant. I finished up work early so i walked into town to the market, needed to get the lad a dufffle bag to hold all his gear for the trip. I also went by the produce booth and bought a nice variety of fruit an veggies. walked out of the market over to the bus stop and was home in no time. The boy went to his Cadet Parade and turned in his T/Form Slip for trip. While he was at that i put the washing away and switched his duty bag over. He now is all set the ship out @ 18:30pm Friday......Me and Big G watched more America's Got Talent and worked our farms till the lad got back home. Looking forward to some peace n quiet after the lad ships out. His unit will leave @ 19:00 Friday evening for Iveston in Tilbury for power boating training with his Sea Cadets won't sail back in till Sunday afternoon...WooHoo!! Young G really enjoys his Navy Sea Cadets......
Well don't mean to sound like a repeat but ditto on the weather for a thrid day in a row, the only difference is it was even hotter an brighter with a nice breeze. An the fact it was my day off!!! We decided not to take a outing since the lad's tornando room needed to be sorted an he had lost his beret which he will need for his trip. That turned into a all day job finished about 3:00pm Big fixed his broken handle on his wardrobe, broken drawer on his night stand. After that Big G made us lunch. Than the lad got in form school and we laid down new rules an had him pack his duty bag for Cadet trip at the weekend. Watched more of America's Got Talent and the Unit... Oh don't forget Farmtown....
Well we woke up to bright sun an heat. I pulled out the summer clothes an the long lost flip flops and had a beautiful walk to work. When i got home from work Big G was just finishing up hoovering the front lawn. So i asked him to wash n wear and we caught the bus into town. I wanted to get a few brouchures on places to visit by bus from the Main Bus Depot. Have that we walked down to the corner pub called the Ship for a few pints. Boy they went down smooth since it was so warm out so while we were there we watched a bit of Wimbeldon tennis on the big screen and who was playing Britons only hope no other than Andy Murray....They really think he has a chance of finally winnning a Grand Slam on home turf this time!!! We will just wit an see....Got back home and the lad was home from school so we all got on the computers an worked our farms and facebook as usual......

Saturday, Woke up to a rather gloomy day and a bit cool. We dressed and headed into town for a bit of shopping as the lad wanted a gift for Fathers Day and saw what he wanted to get at the market. It was a bit crowded people everywhere. we split up and hooked up later on at Starbucks, took a quick break the lad had a huge chocolate chip chunk biscuit, Big G had reg coffee and Mummy had a mango fruit passion oh so tasty..than we continued doing a bit more shopping. Got home i checked in on my farm, Big G worked a bit in his shed up the back garden and the lad went to try out his newst Xbox game that father bought him when in town. Big G made a lovely Seafood Pasta for dinna it was divine....... he is such a good chef!! Watched some baseball on ESPN America a new channel i got added to our cable bill. Shows all American Sports......Big G has gone up to soak in the bath, think i'm next. can't believe i've finally caught up on this blog will try to maintain....signing off for now over n out!
Friday, TGIF!!! End of another week, had to work the serving line with my boss has it . was sausage n chips day. Got outta work a bit early. The lad rang up an asked if okay for his mate James to come round for a bit after school. The lad and his mate walked up to the chippy and brought back fish n chips for dinna that evening. We worked our farms and watched Army Wives, America Gots Talent and Dexter Off too Bed.
Thurdsay, Weather was decent an i made a trip into town to the bank to pay a few bills did'nt take much time just a small queue in the bank lobby than caught bus home. The lad went to Sea Cadets, gave him £36.00 to pay for his next weekend trip to Iveston at the end of month. This young Cadet of ours takes more trips than us in a year or half year. Me and hubby worked our Farms and watched America's Got Talent, and the final espiode of Brother n Sisters.
Wednesday, Hubby an I got up early and headed into town to catch a bus to Maldon. it was my first day off on my new hours and the weather was good a bit breezy and some sun. We got of the bus in the town center and walked and browsed the shoppes than made our way down too the promanade where the tide was out and all the ships were leaning sideways. we walked over to the concession and purchased an soft ice cream it was yummy!!! we than walked over and sat on the bench and watched the swans in the pond and the birds flying along. we than worked our way around to the other side it was very pleasant. We than made our way back into the town center and went to Saffrons Tea Room for a bit of lunch. Grady had a Seafood Salad and I had a Tomato & Cheese Quiche with backed potatoe it was all just brillant....Than we caught the bus back home We arrived home about 4ish...what a .lovely day out we had. Will try to get hubby to post pics we took.
Into June now, Have'nt had much summer weather yet, only get a few days than back to the usual been hanging around the low 60's.....No heat wave yet !!! Since I've been back to work following the holiday it's been very slow and we are currently over staffed so i've volunterred to cut my hours down to 16 a week with Wednesdays off to help out the Canteen knew the credit-crunch would hit sooner than later.......besides only have four more weeks before school season ends. Will re-visit my hours when we go back in session in September.
On June 2nd I had to take a day off work cause a visit with a represenative from the Housing Couincil was coming by to access my housing benefits and i had contacted their office about hubby now staying with which would mean my benefits had to be reaccessed, the visit went well just had to give them a hand written letter stating when hubby arrived and that he has no recourse to benefits and he is self supporting. They will review my case and advise so far so good. but as i said earlier i now need to update them on my new working hours and i may qualify for full paid housing benefits......Also need to contact them about the change on my working tax credit benefits as well and may see an increase in those as well.. That's Goverment for you(socialism) Look out America!!!! it's knocking on your white house door!!!!!!
Heaven forbid if it should be that. On the Friday we had to get the young lad packed and ready to depart for 18:00 he was going on a 3 day trip to a Army Base in Suffolk for Communications training with his Sea Cadets. Whew peace an quite for a few days!! Me and hubby just relaxed and of course did our Farmtown. Spent some time on the phone and computer trying to get gradys sister set up on Facebook and farmtown.
Our son came home Sunday afternoon from his Cadet trip, was very exhausted and sleepy seeing the cadets were up all night and got them selves awol somehow on a restricted area on the base. On Monday evening we walked into down to the lads Cadet Unit for his promotion ceramony. He looked so smart in his Uniform, upon the finishing of the service his commander stated it was long winded due to our son seeing they had to give him so many certificates and badges apparantly he completed all the tasks in one go instead of spreading them out. Typical!!!! Will try to post pics. We are almost there catching up fast......
well what can i say it's been a very long time since i was last here. I don't think i'll be able to remember what all has happened but will try to give a brief and hopefully catch you up to date.
I believe the last time i wrote we had just had a Bank Holiday and our 15th Wedding Anniversary. How time flys where did those years go. My wonderful husband got me a Lap Top for my Anniversary gift. It is a really big and cool just like typing on a big screen tv. Our weather over here for the past month of May has been a rollercoaster needless to say few days sunny and a bit warm than back to blowey gloomy and rain.We had another half break holiday at the end of May/Whitsin which is like your Memorial Weekend. Weather was good and hot for few days in which we were able to fire up the barbie, I luv grilled food it just seems to taste so much better.
We did'nt do a whole lot on that weeks break seeing i had a doctor's appt scheduled for that Tuesday afternoon and the young lad was due to leave Friday for a weekend getaway. My appt with doctor had to be re-scheduled due to swab tests and the nurse did'nt want my specimens to hang over night so made appt for the following Monday instead but did leave prescriptions to be re-filled. Been having some female issues not sure if infection or start of Menapause....
Tuesday, 5 May 2009
we started chatting with everyone it was fun, then hubby got a facebook request from my cousin looking for me, so he replied and i was able to have a nice chat with her on-line I just luv the internet....you feel more in touch even if so far apart....like the saying goes "Just reach out and touch someone" Well i think I'm fading as it is getting late and work will be calling me early..............
Happy Cinco De mayo!! and Happy Anniversary to us 15 years and counting..... Today was a much more pleasant day with warmer temps and sun later in the day. 19C I had a crazy day at work, while i was working the dolly trolly at break the kids were selling Krispy Cream Doughnuts for a fundraiser out in the dinning hall when they ran out and came in the kitchen for more boxes to sell when they decided to start selling them from the kitchen before i knew it i was being stampeded by boys from every angle it was very scarey, i manage to sream for my boss Jim and he told them to move back out to the dinning hall. I was really shaken up for a while. Went back to washing up my pots and rest of the day flew by. Left with co-worker Helen and popped into town and market. Got home and hubby was working on his circle in the back garden. Had a lovely Homemade Mexican meal. The Three A's all got on the computers to check-in on our farms and some of our neighbours were on line so we
Bank Holiday Monday stayed true to form. Crappy weather, dark and very cold. won't be able to fire up the barbie today. Boo Hoo!! Layed in for a few more zzzz'zzz instead. Was able to sort out my wardrobe and some paperwork. Had an old American favourite for dinner burger n chips......Time for bedy byes has back to work and school in the am.................
continued: rest of Sundays weather brightened up a bit so managed to do a few things in the garden until the weather turned very windy and chilly!! That of course ended the outdoor stuff. Everyone went back onto the computers and tended their farms. Watched our recorded programs as not much on regular tele. Buenos Noches!!!
Sunday, 3 May 2009
Oh my into second day of Bank Holiday Weekend! Was bright sunny when i first awaken put by the time i got a cup of tea all went away and turned dark looked like rain was on the arising but to no avail the sun has fought back Yea!!! next up was Lil G, he let the dog out and jumped on lap top to check out his harvest while i'm typing this blog he just did a shout out cause apparently he has just lost all his grape crops on his Farm Town Farm they did'nt get harvested in time, he went to check mum and dads farms and we too have lost our grape crops! what a sad time on the ole farm!!!! I went to my farm and re-harvested, dad will tend to his crops when he gets up! Oh! the joys of Farming.........Not sure what else is on agenda for today other than i'm feeling hunger and in need of another cuppa tea and some breakfast later mates.............
Here is a follow-up from this morning. It continued to be warm and sunny so much I got sun burned from grazing in the lawn chair while hubby dug up the grass to shape his circle for gravel that he will be placing so we will be able to sit the new patio set on.
Lil G went over to pick up his Patrick and they spent the afternoom playing computer games. We came indoors about half past four, then me and the young lad got on the computers as we needed to harvest our farms!!! No Thanks to Ms Jinny she sent me a request to join her farm on Facebook called Farm Town..... Oh My what a fun time we are having it is really cool working your own farm. While were harvesting our farms father was getting some much needed R & R and watching Robin Hood the series. Than he cooked dinner where he baked Sea Bass in honey and onion wow it was lovely!!!
While I was doing the washing up Lil G got Big G to join us at Farm Town now all three A's are harvesting farms. oh such madness!!!! I left them getting on with it and I watched Britians Got Talent once again they showed some really cute acts...
later on G & G started watching some horror flic so off to bed i went.........
Saturday, 2 May 2009
What a Glourious morning we have woken up too!! The Sun is bright and shiny oh my gosh it's beautiful. Another nice warm day ahead of us could make it up to 18c. will let you know later on. Big G has made us all a lovely breakfast Omlette, it was yummy!!
Big G has just gone outside to water the garden so me and the lad had better get dressed and help out. Need to get this day up and running so will write more later Chow!!!
Whew i finally made it too Friday, lets see first i had Pat from work drive me back to Aldi's has i needed to get a refund they seem to have double tipped me on one my purchases all went well and was home in no time. rested a bit than Lil G arrived home from school had him chane his clothes as we needed to leave about half past five to catch a bus into town so we could hook up with Helen and Siobhan and have Joe take Grady to B&Q for some supplies while Me and Helen dropped of the young ones at the Cinema to see Hannah Montana the Movie.
While they were at the picture show us mommies hung out putting a few lagers down and having conversation at the pub next door while waiting for the film to finish. We sat next to the waterfront and it was great as the weather here today was bright, warm and beautiful. what a brillant time we had. The young ones met up with us out on the patio and ate their ice cream. We left there and made our way home rang up for a cab to pick us up outside Tesco's and we arrived home about half past nine. Grady was home when we arrived as hew completed his shopping and Joe had brought him home earlier in the evening. Good times was had by all!!! I had time to catch the tail end of Dancing with the Stars, next thing i remember was hubby carting me off to bed. snooooooozing away!!!!!!!!!!
Well well how did i miss so many days! Will my memory let me do catch up?
Tuesday was again a typical english weather day cloudy, gray, misting, breezey! All the three A's made good use of computer time.
Wednesday was kinda a repeat of Tuesday, saw a squirt of the sun!! Big G was able to go out and water the garden. Then he put the huge grocery delivery order away or at least tryed too. I went with Pat my co worker to Aldi's for a few more bits. When i got home needless to say i had to rearrange all of mother hubbards cupboards and freezer in order to make room for all the shopping. Some american ways are hard to change!!
Thursday was a pleasant day with sun and cool breeze. Big G made his way into town all on his own. Used his Bus Pass for the first time and got off at the ship stop as he wanted to stroll down Townfield Street where Tony used to live to see if any changes and of course he found out all looks the same not much changes over here. Than he made his way to the Town Market, wanted the garden booth for some Roses, and other bits. Caught the 54 bus back home for a completed trip. I was very proud of him to make the journey out and back without getting lost or confused. Well done Honey!!!!! I was a little late getting in from work has i had a hair appt. Tryed meeting up with the young lad at bus station but ran late so i caught bus home than he arrived in behind me just a short time later. Lil G had to make a quick turn around as it was his Cadets Parade Night and naturally he had to visit McDonalds before he arrived at the unit. Heard from Mumzie in Dallas, she is enjoying her holiday over there. Apparantly my sister has had some health issues while she's been there so mumzies has been looking after the girls while Beth gets her health sorted out. Spoke with her for a short while and says she is starting to get on better. Our evening wrapped up with Big G on his computer game and me watching American Idol , Brother n Sisters till our little seaman arrived home.

I've just finished shopping online @ ASDA(which is the English version of Walmart) Wooohoo!!! Needed to get grocerys in as next Monday is Bank Holiday. Three day weekend coming up!!! Time to wrap up as 24 is due to start. Just luv my rambo Jack course we are always a week behind in the shows. TTFN!!!!!!
Today was not a very pleasant day as had to walk to and from work in the rain. Big G was glad as rain was much needed for garden. Big G was stuck inside playing computer games Ohhhh Shuks!! My work day was manic due to it being a Monday for starters and than we had too help out with a buffet which caused us to get behind on other duties end of the day all was finally completed on schedule. When I arrived home a bit soggy Big G made me a cuppa tea and commented on how cold it was in the lounge even with the heat on. Still can't get his head around our crazy weather here. Was enjoying catching up on Wendy's blog when Lil G arrived home from school so he started reading it as well and commented. Wasn't able to get dog out for run or walk at park due to the rain, instead he helped father cook dinner and it was tasty. Got himself dressed in his Civee's for Sea Cadets. They usually go canoeing up the river not sure if they will be able due to weather. He truly loves his Sea Cadets. On Monday evenings his position is QuarterMaster (Mr Big Shot) ....continue

Here it is Sunday evening, how the weekend flew by. Today was another beautiful day lots of sun and cool breeze. Big G watered his vegie garden and flowers all is blooming well. Onions ,Turnups.mustard greens growing very well, we have such good soil here for planting. Lil G went into town for a badly needed haircut. I tossed ball with the dog for a while than just kicked back and rested in the garden till the sun went bye,bye and it turned a bit chilly. The lad arrived back home with a nice looking haircut! No more mop head!! Rest of the day was on the lazy side, watched some of the programs we had recorded thru the week. Ordered Chinese Food Yummy!! The lad gave dog a bath(just another mess to clean-up of course). Well not much else going on here today in the words of my Father(Sunday is a day of rest literally)!!!! Have to go as the last show of Desperate Housewife's is due to start along with last showing of Dirty Sexy Money. Still love my american tv shows. cya sue

We sat down and watched Britians Got Talent on tele very funny and interesting people try out for a chance to perform in front of the Queen at the Varity Show later in the year. Than it was time for me to grab the lap top whille 2 G's watched Wanted on DVD Angelina Jolie was in it, just another one of those shootup movies. Enough Already!!!! I'm still writing this blog and they have moved on to 2nd movie one i recorded earlier this evening 10,0000 BC. I 'm winding this up and headed for snoozeville getting very sleepy nightie night to all!!!!!!
Gosh today ended up being quite a busy day we got alot accomplished. Hung the laundry on the line and it dryed in no time thanks to a breezy wind. While the lad was at his cleanup me and hubby decided to sort our bedroom out. We needed to pack away the winter clothing to make room for spring/summer Yea!!! I bought those vacumn bags, they actually work well. need to buy more too many clothes. Hubby than pulled out his tape measure and started sizing up the room in order to rearrange the bed & dressers. We had success and the bedroom now looks terrific along with the artwork now hanging on the walls. Nice and Roomy!! We wrapped up just in time to take a break and watch Robin Hood on tele the 2 g's went and cooked spagehetti while I finished tidying up a bit, dinner was lovely. I did the the washing up while Big G showed and helped Lil G how to iron his Cadet civiee uniform. What a site that was glad he had the patience I ran off and hopped in the shower instead.
We have woken up to a beatiful morning, the sun is shining a bit on the cool side will take a while to warm up put seeing the sun is just lovely. The young lad has headed out early this am to his Cadet's Unit for a clean-up day. Wish he would show that same energy here at home towards working!!! We can only wish!! I hear the kettle whislting so better get another cupa and wash my work uniform write more later cya!!!!

Well it's friday evening and of courswe that means Fish n Chips for dinner. Yummy!! The young lad has gone to give our dog Marlow a quick run not walk. Then it's off to the Chippy just up the tweet.
than it will be me watching Dancing with the Stars from across the pond. Big G will play his game on the computer and lil G will me on his XBox what a bunch of nerds here. Oh well what do expect after final day of work week and a day of doodling in the garden for Mr.G and day of school exams for Lil G. Enjoying the last of the warmth and sunshine seems to be leaving us for rain instead at least for beginning of next week. It now stays daylight till 8:30 in the evening now gives us much more time to spend outside in the lovely looking garden that Mr.G has worked so hard on since he's been home here. Well time to move on as i can smell the Fish n Chips. TA! Ta! For Now.......
